Nim Notes

Wednesday Livestream:
- Mounts, yes horses, are coming to DDO with keep on the borderlands. ML1 summon tokens will allow you to summon different type of horses depending on the one you have to ride around in wilderness and public areas! Prices are to be determined. They can jump and they will dismount you if you take a certain amount of damage! So far no you cant battle on your mount. No words on exactly how you obtain one, but I can only assume you'll be able to purchase most of them through the DDO store. Mount Speeds varies from mount to mount. Cordovan did mention they will most likely be for DDO points considering how much work they put into mounts.
- Weekend Bonus: +25% Cannith Crafting xp boost October 24th - October 27th
- No Lamannia but maybe next week.
- Alchemists are said to be released "shortly after Keep on the Borderlands" (Stay tuned for exactly what that means)
@littlemama
I don't know if they will do mounts and not try to make cash out of it. I have a feeling they will all be ddo store and maybe 1 will be part of a pack special to the release of Keep on the Borderlands (similar to what they did with White Plume Mountain)
not sure how I feel about mounts. Never thought DDO needed mounts, but I know they will be popular with some. Could make some of the larger slayer areas a bit faster.
Barovia and the Sands will now not be too bad to traverse. Specially Chains of Flames run outs.
ya I can see the faster moment speed being good for several areas (ie searching for the King's Forrest rare)
Hey if it helps keep the game alive I am all for it, but like I said, just not sure how I feel about them right now.
Could also lead to other mounts depending on race (ie Wargs, Pigs, etc)
I totally feel that they are trying to compete with other MMORPG's bells and whistles to probably interest newer and maybe younger audiences, all I can think of them is as more cosmetic swag for Nimvind, a cool Nightmare with flames on the hooves would be sweet.
