- Severlin mentioned that SSG is working on a new 64 bit client server that will help with certain background issues(Twizzle code? and etc) and may allow new fun features in the future if testing goes well. Some features mentioned (though not tested and thus we don't know if they are actually coming with the new servers) is an option to do Hardcore style gameplay on the server without leaving it.
- They are still planning to update halflings aesthetics.

"So. The thing with a lot of our classes/trees/etc:
We pull a lot from pen and paper D&D. But we also typically put a new spin on whatever's coming from the source material, in part because the pen & paper prestige classes usually aren't large enough to fully flesh out what we need for DDO purposes, and in part because we're looking to fit it into the broader meta of DDO while still being new and interesting. Ultimately, while we're based on 3.5 (and D&D in general), we are also a separate edition of sorts. Whenever we do add to/modify what's in the pen and paper, it's with WOTC's approval.
Pen and paper D&D is also known to take a prestige class and attach it to a slightly off-expectation class at times - take Arcane Archer, which started as a Prestige class but became a Fighter subclass in 5th Edition. When we do similar things, it's still D&D even when it's not directly 1:1 with a book. (edited)"

Blindsense (a form of True Seeing, really)
Wings (which we already represent via abundant step in other dragon-y places)
Dragon Apotheosis (gain some dragon-y traits)
All of which have flexibility to fit in DDO while leaving some space for other Dragon/Monk things. Doesn't mean we necessarily HAVE to cover all of those, but they're easier than some other prestige classes to cover"
