Hardcore:
- 5 champions from 5 different elemental dragons (fire, ice, electric, poison, acid) that have damage from their elements and absorption for them are introduced at level 3+, certain ones and orange names will have more abilities.
- All mobs have 50% reduction to all spells except force and physical type damage (I.E. pierce, slashing, bludgeoning) and also increased spell powers of above types (fire, ice, electric, poison, and acid) and maybe even negative. This is most likely doubled or just increased for kobolds and dragons (dragonborn?)

Here are some of the rewards for the 8th Season of the Hardcore League:
- 1750 Favor: Glittery Golden Eyes Toggle
- Finding all 7 Treasures: ???
- Reaching Level 20: Death Walkers Sash VIII
- Gaining 10 Reaper Enhancement Points: Death Walker's Cloak VIII
- Gaining 20 Reaper Enhancement Points: Solid Gold Mimic Creature Companion
We are all still hoping for more than 5 rewards 😀
