I had my hernia repair done two weeks, and this Sunday I had a dramatic complication instead of a smooth healing, so I won't be around much while I'm working iwth my wound care team to sort this out.  Ashe was fast calling the 911, and I'm going to be okay now, but there was a minute when it was all happening I really wasn't sure that I was going to be okay.

Miss you guys, but getting this healed us is apparently going to be somewhat involved.  I'm home from the hospital, the nurses are comign to me now!  But I'm tied and can't focus, and attached to a wound vacuum that makes playing games harder than they need to be. LOl

Have a great Christmas, and I wish you all joy and all the loots, both under the tree and in DDO.

Love Turtle and Codex

Thank you everyone.  🙂  The good news is the first surgery held, and the repair is good, I just developed a 'dehiscence' complication and erupted like a volcano, and now I'm attached a wound vacuum and I'm told it will tkae 8 to 12 weeks to heal the wound created by the repair surgery, they are healing it slowly and naturally instead of sewing me up.  it's weird, but here I am.  I only sort of understand what is going on.  I know what to do an a home nurse comes three times a week to change the internal dressings, and once the sponge goes under the vacuum it's like having a metal rod in my abdomen, hard to play.
