SteelStar responded - LeoLionxxx is right, a few traps on the stairs have different configurations depending on the card order.
There's a few other small things governed by card order, but nothing affecting buffs or statistics on monsters.

Also had a nice lengthy conversation with Steelstar and Lynnabel on Discord about this. Confirming the card order means very little. He stated that the card order affects the placement patterns of the cards, but we (the guild) have not figured out what that affect is

I'll confirm that there is no correlation between card order and crypt card location, it is purely random.
