[Sticky] How to make a nicely-formatted build post using Character Planner Lite

Heya, all. So I was asked about this subject the other day, and I tried to explain it, and...

...Yeah, the build post came out readable, but not as nice as it could be. Now, you've seen the ones I've done for several of Ina's TR lives. And I'll bet more of you than just Gijo are wondering how I do it, especially with the nonstandard formatting this particular forum software uses.

Strap in.

Now, obviously, the first thing you're going to do is grab a copy of EllisDee37's Character Planner Lite, and put together a build. I don't exactly need to help you with that, do I? Once you have the build made, you will want to go to File -> Export in the planner, which should open up a window looking a little like this.

Make sure you have the "Plain Text" setting selected in the Format dropdown, then Copy to Clipboard.

Now, start up a new topic here, in the Build forum. Write down your usual opening stuff, then when it comes time to paste the planner output, here's what you do.

When you're ready to paste what's on the clipboard from the planner, first make sure you click the circled button. That will put what you want to type or paste in code tags, removing all formatting and preserving spacing. DO NOT USE THE "CODE TAGS" OUTPUT FROM THE PLANNER. If you did it right, you will see that little "pre" like the arrow in the gray area on bottom is pointing to. Paste away.

If everything went right, you should have a decent-looking build post, like below:
