Not just one, but two new builds for your consumption. They're both variations on the same build, with some subtle differences in playstyle and what they're better at. What they both do is lock down lines of mobs with Paralyzing Arrows while keeping the group healed.

I am currently in the process of leveling a 34-point Khorvaire (free) Elf version of this build on Torrynn. You need Falconry for WIS to hit and damage, which costs at least 12 AP. You could dump the stuff from Warpriest into Falconry to get some of the Tier 4 goodies. It's valid. My personal choice is Warpriest, though, for some extra bulk.
Since I'm getting WIS to hit and damage on any weapon I wield via Falconry, I go Sovereign Host for the Unyielding Sovereignty clicky. (You get bow proficiency from being an elf.)
Trickery Domain sends the build's enchant DC through the roof, at least as far as archer clerics go. 17 levels Cleric gives you access to some of the Level 9 spells. I'd suggest Implosion and True Resurrection for L9 spells worth taking.
Your normal best destiny bet is Exalted Angel for DCs (and for wings, allowing you to be a decent kiter in Killing Time), though Shiradi for Nerve Venom and a little more DPS from the tree's attacks are also a somewhat valid choice.

I will soon be leveling this build on Tenpercenter. Compared to the cleric, you lose some enchantment DC from the lack of a domain, and level 9 spell access. What you gain is Ameliorating Strike, many more spell points for healing, higher HP plus three energy absorbencies, and built-in wings, making Shiradi a much more viable choice for running in full time. Divine Crusader and Fury of the Wild also become viable destiny options when you need a little more DPS.
Fighter effectively is giving you three feats here: the two bonus fighter feats (applied at specific levels to take advantage of specific BAB values), and built-in heavy armor proficiency. Wizard comes in with the free feat for Quicken.
As to what both builds do well, your job is to lock down mobs with paralyzing arrows and IPS, and heal when needed. Your enchantment DC is enough to lock down melees with spells like Hold Person or Greater Command, but by and large, you should CC with the bow and use the bluebar to throw heals.
