Had my surgery yesterday, it went pretty well.  They told me to expect a minimum of three rods inserted to a maximum of 8 for one complicated case he had, and I have a complication too, but he was able to do it with just four, but he scared Coddex because the surgery took way long.  And once upon a time Coddex was having what had supposed to be a 1/h hour surgery take 3 and a 1/2 and they fond cancer, so he was having all sots of worries!  But I woke up okay in recovery, was just really groggy and they had to take the routine anti nausea patch they put on you for surgery off because the room was MOVING every time I opened my eyes, that was fun.   Because the only problem I had eating the crackers afterwards was my really dry and abused throat from the breathing tube had trouble swallowing dry crackers, the only diet restriction he put me on was to continue the low dairy and low fat diet at least 4 days to allow my system to adjust to the changes, he felt a liquid diet unnecessary.  So Coddex fed me a chicken sammich and all went well.  I am being well cared for and miss you guys!

Thanks everyone!  So far everything is looking good, healing is starting to take place, and I can eat foods I couldn't before with no ill effects, so the surgery worked, and no signs of adverse complications.  *Hugs everyone*
